CASH SECURED PUT

Example: Number Cruncher (NUCR) has rallied from $120 to $128.50 in the last month. You like the stock and would like to purchase shares at a lower price, around $120.

Outlook:You believe a pull back is possible and at that time you would then become a buyer.

Possible strategy:Cash Secured Put:
Write 1 September 120 put at $1.50
Invest $12,000 in money market fund (yield, 2%)
Net cash investment: $118.50 per share, or $11,850.
